  We are in love with Thai in Love!!
  
  My boyfriend and I live far apart but this place seemed a nice meeting point in the middle. We hardly expected to have stumbled on such an excellent and cozy little place! The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The staff is funny and helpful. Service is fast and attentive. Presentation is beautiful and frankly, adorable! I came in feeling tired from a long weekend and left full and happy!
  
  It doesn't stop there! This food is very authentic and very delicious!! I was able to get some of my favorites which I would normally go to Queens for.
  
  My only regret is that I know no one in the immediate area to recommend this great restaurant to!

  Let me start off by saying, I'm not sure even what Thai food is. I mean, I consider myself pretty well versed in the food department, but I'm also honest enough to admit my ignorance when it comes to food, especially ethnic food. I mean, it's like noodles and stuff right?
  
  Anyway, there was a Thai place right in the center of town that we tried a couple years ago, and were THOROUGHLY disappointed by. So basically, that was where the story of Thai food and I ended. It's not like I was a fan of the style enough to hunt another place down, so unless a place plopped into my lap, I was done with Thai.
  
  Plop.
  
  One day my son comes home and tells me about this small Thai place in Thomaston, "Thai In Love" (see what they did there?). He goes on to completely rave about it, bubbling over with enthusiasm. Let me just make something clear here, my son is 17, and his pallet is...well, 17 as well! Point is, he doesn't often "rave" about food, so when he did...I took notice. In the next day or so, a friend that lives down the road ALSO raved; so, clearly there was something going on here and I needed to investigate.
  
  Place is small (cozy small), so if you're dining it...get there early. The decor is kind of low brow and as soon as you walk in, you'll know that the place is all about the food. And scanning the room, I noticed a sweet old Thai Grandmother cooking in the kitchen. Oh yeah, this was gonna be good!
  
  We ordered an appetizer sampler that was simply amazing. I apologize that I can't remember what each thing was, but my Thai is rusty and I had a few drinks in me (BYOB by the way!). For the entree', I went with the Drunken Noodle with Chicken (level 5 heat please), the Mrs. went with the Golden Garlic stir fry with mixed seafood. Let's just say this, it was NOTHING like the other place. This stuff was fresh, spicey, just an amazing blend of flavors that you're not going to get with any other ethnic food. The "heat" is hot, but it's not like Mexican hot for example, it's a much more complex type of heat that has multiple layers and intensities. Simply amazing.
  
  Service was instantaneous and constant, not an issue there at all. Since then, we've done take out a couple times and are currently exploring the menu deeper. Thus-far, it's been all good.
  
  Trust me, I still have no idea what Thai food is; but when I put the food they make here in my mouth hole, I get happy.
